The most common reasons for JavaScript problems are:

  1. Your Web browser does not support JavaScript.

Solution: Upgrade your Web browser to a newer version. We recommend Internet Explorer 5.0 or above.

  2. Your Web browser has JavaScript disabled.
Solution: Follow these instructions to enable JavaScript on Internet Explorer:

    • Launch Internet Explorer
    • Click on Tools at the top of the window and then select Internet Options
    • The Internet Options panel will open. Click on the Security tab at the top of the panel
    • Click on the Internet icon near the top of the panel
    • Click on the Default Level button and then click on OK to update your settings

  3. Your personal firewall software has disabled active scripting.

Some personal firewall software programs have the option to switch off active scripting including JavaScript. Please refer to the software's manual or help files for information on how to enable active scripting.
